How to successfully interview a candidate for a Nanny position

  1. The purpose of your interview should be making sure that the candidate is the right person to take care of your children.
  2. It is also important to let the candidate know as much as possible about the position including the unexpected challenges that she may have to face. Try to be as open as possible.
  3. Before you get to the specifics, ask the candidate why she decided to be a Nanny, allow her to describe her ideal position. Let her talk as much as possible. The more people talk, the more they reveal themselves.
